SPENCER A. LEEDS, an attorney who has practiced in the courts throughout New York and New Jersey for more than 20 years, prides himself on his ability to individually care for and serve each of his clients. He started his legal career as a Law Clerk for a State Court Judge in 1986 and evolved into a solo practitioner beginning in 1991. He has effectively utilized his experience, skill and creativity in achieving positive results for his clients in the areas of criminal defense, civil rights and civil litigation. He has trial experience throughout the New York-New Jersey area.

He practices in both State and Federal courts. As a criminal practitioner, he has successfully defended all types of charges ranging from simple infractions to serious felonies. As a civil lawyer, he has successfully prosecuted claims on behalf of civilians against the City of New York and other municipalities, the New York City Police Department, the Port Authority of New York/New Jersey and other branches of government for violations of civil rights, false arrests and false imprisonment, unlawful searches, malicious prosecution and police assaults.

He has also successfully litigated negligence claims in the areas of Products Liability, Medical Malpractice and for injuries resulting from motor vehicle accidents.
